I have been trying to identify the very small friend that looks like a moth, rose in color, and moves like a hummingbird over all of my blooming lantana in Jacksonville Florida. Can anyone direct me with information.

I have been challenged to find a picture of the black and fuschia pink moth hummingbird that I saw in N. Jacksonville Fl. in the early 80's. I spotted several once in front of the Cracker Barrel Restuarant in Arlington again in early 2000 or 2001. I actually thought it was a hummingbird. Went to the library and found the picture of the little thing in a moth book at the northside library. Can't find it on the internet and Arlington library had one book on Moths and it wasn't there. ANybody have clue as to the name of this moth? Thanks, Judy in Florida
