Today while I was outside talking to my daughter I was peering in a general direction toward my garden and there he was a ruby throated !! What you don't understand is in the spring I created my butterfly / hummingbird garden and did not get much action- as a matter of fact I got no action. I have not changed the nectar since June and theityle fellow didn't seem to care. I was very excited! I hope I will get to see more!!!

Chris, I hope you really haven't left a feeder up since June without cleaning or changing the solution at least once a week. Moldy, fungal water may result in sickness and death to a hummer if it inadvertantly were to consume it. Joe M. Lakeland
