We have a dozen tiny little bee hummingbirds, I read they are only found in Cuba, they were drinking from male papaya flowers! Has anyone else seen them in Florida?

Greg, I have never seen one in FL nor do I know of anyone other than yourself who has seen any in this State. Although we get folks citing the presence of this species in their yard none of the reports have been substantiated. Other than being very tiny can you provide any other identifying features that might help to confirm them as "Bee Hummingbirds". Joe
