I have read earlier of some hummingbirds remaining for winter months, during the summer I had several birds on feeders throughout the summer, in late August 2018 they abruptly left,, I had a few stragglers during October to November. Then early December none, mid-December I noticed a lone female on flowers and I reloaded the feeders which the female would visist throughtout the day.. The lone female has remained since and this morning Janurary 21 2019 it was 35 degrees and she was on the feeder at day break. My question, is this common for my area.
