Hummingbird in Miami

I have never seen a hummingbird in Miami! I returned home and was unlocking the gate at about 2:15 pm today. Something was rustling the mona lavender plant by the front door. At first I thought it was a wren because of the size and color. Its wings were fluttering and it looked at me with its big eye! Then it flew away. I think I will put a feeder out in case it comes back.
Does anyone know anything about such an appearance?

Put the feeder most likely he will comeback. I'm farther north in Broward county, keep trying to bring them to my yard, but not much luck yet.
