Does anyone have a favorite hummingbird feeder brush that they use to clean your feeder and if so, where did you get it???
Thanks!

Check out Wild Birds Unlimited.
I tend to buy up the wide mouth feeders as they go on sale as Walmart when they hit $3 !

Many years ago, I found a set of three different sizes of fleece tipped bottle brushes that worked great. I was able to bend the brush, allowing me to reach all parts of any feeder while applying pressure to scrub any hard to clean spots. Eventually, the bristles fell out or the wire broke from excessive bending. Last year, I searched the Internet for replacements. I found them offered by a few companies but opted for a slightly cheaper cotton tipped version. You get what you pay for.
I recently posted this question to another list and received feedback including a PerkyPet brush and a variety of baby bottle brushes.

1. Common 'Pipe' cleaners for the ports and small openings. 2. Walmart often has a 3 pack of small (3 different sizes) bottle brushes. All have a cotton type ball at the tip. Can be bent to work into those hard to get at corners and creveces. 3. Home made.... Aluminum wire + cotton balls. Punch a small hole in about 1/2 way into the ball and hot glue the wire in place. Flexible, cleanable, fixable and 'cheap'. Joe M
