I hav'nt been a member here very long, but i can tell any new members your wasting your time posting here. The mods could care less about you. They don't check in or answer your questions. You don't exist. I volunteered to be a mod and have several years of experiance. but Joe told me to go pound sand. i think they just want this site to go away......and it will. I'll probly be banned after this post so.....enjoy your hummers folks. Just don't expect any help here.

I apologize for the feeling of abandonment. I have been overwhelmed by life away from this forum for an extended time. I'd hoped for this forum to "run itself" attracting "local experts" who would be able to help individuals with better regional advice than I can offer with my Tampa area knowledge. It did that for a period of time but has not been that way for a number of years. The conversations remain as a source of information. Many of the members came from birding/gardening email groups or forums whose activity has moved to Facebook. The sharing that used to occur here has moved to Facebook as well where I have a Hummingbirds in Florida Group that is very active. I encourage anyone with access to Facebook to join that group.
I apologize for not checking in regularly and will try harder to better administer this forum (as time permits).

Test for attaching a photo to a post. When creating a post, click the add attachment button in the upper right corner of the window. Browse to the photo on your computer (Add files). Click Insert. My old balcony Images may be embedded into messages if they exist on a WebPage that allows other Webpages to link to it. Click the "insert Image" button and a window will pop up prompting you to enter a web address of a photo:
