For the second year I have a Palm Warbler that has a 'sweet tooth'! Not sure if its the same bird, as last year, but I find it interesting that even warblers get hooked on sugar solution. Add another to the list! Joe M. Lakeland Attachments:

Joe, Birds in general just amaze me. I put out a small cup with Grape jam in it for a Baltimore Oriole and instead my pair of resident Mockingbirds are at it all day long and just wait near by for me to refill if they have emptied it. I will not refill until the next morning. They will also feed on the orange if there is no Jam. So far My Palm Warblers I have not seen at the feeders but they will eat the bread I put out to keep the flock of black birds from taking over my seed feeder. Is this the meaning of "birds of a different feather"? Great bird watching to you, Lynne

I haven't seen a hummer since October but I do have a catbird that attempts to drink from both my hummingbird feeders several times a day. He's not getting anything out of the feeders but he does drink all the water out of the ant moat. I guess he's too good to drink out of the bird bath!
