Hello, I live in Lake City, FL (60 miles south of Georgia) and I just started watching and enjoying hummingbirds. I want to do more towards attracting them besides having feeders and I've read that landscaping is the key. What plants or flowers or vines or whatever are good for this part of the state? Are there year round plants that survive the winter here or do I have to plant something new every year? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Hummingbird Newbie

'imj, Look on the "Home page" and in the "Attracting Hummingbirds---tips and questions" note the sub topic "Landscaping for Hummingbirds" try the "Hummer Favorites in our yard" thread.!
Some very good ideas for plants that have worked for folks in just about every area of the state and in your area.
