1/31/16 female RT on all sorts of flowers in yard. Not interested in feeders....sad Lakewood Ranch is 40 min. south of Tampa. Thanks for allowing guests to post.

Feb. 6th 2016 RT hummer still visiting my purple Porterweed. Enjoying her everyday! She has a perch in a Crape Myrtle that she stays on watching my yard. She is not banded. I also have loads of red Penta, the tall variety.

i was curious, do you use binoculars to see if there is a band or not?? if so what brand ?? i have a small set but still cant see with that much detail. i have alot of hb's, but there tiny legs are hard to see. thanks.

on your January post, i have a few feeders out in the winter months for two years now and they wont even look at my feeders. but i do have many plants for them that bloom in all months. i keep trying but they have other plans.

I just saw a Hummingbird in Lakewood Ranch. This is the first one I have seen here.
