I had my first hummingbird sighting in my back yard on Sunday 9/20/09. Never have seen one before, but I have added a lot of new flowers to the yard to try and get them. I wasn't able to see what type it was. It flew to my Mexican Sunflower plant, hovered at a couple of blossoms, then flew off.
