Good morning! We live in a condo on the beach....3rd floor. I put out a hummingbird feeder 1 week ago and have seen no activity. We live in Brevard County, nr Melbourne. Is there hope for me  |

I used to feed hummingbirds on my second floor balcony (see the photo at the bottom of the home page) so I wouldn't think a third floor would be much different. You can tell by the photo that I did a lot to encourage them to visit me. My concern with your situation would not be the height but rather the lack of habitat around a beach condo.

Thank you Steve. I really appreciate your input. We have a VERY healthy dune but I must admit I have never seen hummers. We summer in the mountains of NC and LOVE feeding our hummers there. Will keep trying for a while at least.
