A young male Rufous Hummingbird was observed late this afternoon in my Valrico yard. Hope he stays.

Have you seen him since then??? Did you get that freeze in Valrico??? If so, do you have any flowering plants right now for them or strictly using feeders now.
I'm in Hernando County and don't have any flowering plants now and have feeders only.

What flowers survived ?
Just wondering as everything bar the Red Shrimp Plant failed to make it in my garden.

My garden is pretty much gone except for the petunias and geraniums that I brought inside.

The Rufous continues in my front yard. I received word last week of two more Rufous in a yard off Miller Road.
