Fred Bassett, well known hummingbird bander, will speak on the topic on Sunday, Jan. 16th 2011 at Circle Bar B Ranch off SR 540 in Lakeland. Time is 6:30 - 8:30. You must reserve a seat by going to www.lakeregionaudubon.org to register.

Sorry, try going back there and click on Contact us which is on the right side across the top of the page. Leave them an email message and I will make sure Sue (the person in charge of setting this up gets it). There was a place to go to in the previous newsletter but couldn't find it myself. I know there are still places available as I added my hubby yesterday.

Hey everybody if you go on the lakeregionaudubon.org website just click the winter hummer article or go to the calendar(January). Either way you will find a way to pre-register. We can't have more than 90 people due to fire codes. So that is why there is pre-registration. Refreshments will be available at 6:00pm the presentation starts at 6:30pm. If all else fails just send an email to me at
president@lakeregionaudubon.org
and I will make sure you have a spot, but do it soon before we fill up.

I just signed up for this event. Thanks for posting the information on here! Maybe I can convince some of those Lakeland hummers to migrate over to Auburndale. Haven't seen any here since last April.
