Do you just pick up a 'bag' of granulated sugar on your trips to the grocery store?
You might consider always using 'cane' sugar if you are planning on using it in your hummingbird feeder.
Although this may be a debatable issue, many years ago I conducted my own 'unscientific' experiment.
I hung two identical feeders, one with 'cane' sugar solution and one with 'beet' sugar solution. After one day I observed allthe birds feeding at the feeder with the 'cane' solution.
Not a scientific study for sure but I am sticking with the 'cane' sugar!
