scfl47 - Mine are still here. Or at least I still have 3 birds I am seeing regularly. I was told that it isn't the blooms or the warm weather that makes them migrate, but instead the longer length of daylight. So, not sure when most ruby-throated hummers might migrate north from Florida, but mine are still hanging around here as well. And if they happen to be non-migratory birds, I may see them again year round like I did last year. I am wondering when and where they might be breeding, nesting, and raising their young in Florida. I've heard that they do in parts of Florida. Possibly south Florida.
Added to say: Or... maybe right here in Sebastian! :-)

FYI: re breeding Hummers. Don't know of any documented nests, or fledged birds south of Polk Co. in central FL. But again, never say never, but it would be very rare! Joe M. Lakeland, FL
