Have not seen my hummers this week. Females have been less frequent for the last 2 weeks. Male who always sits on his perch has not been seen for a few days.

Not unusual for your over wintering hummers to leave for their summer residences, during the month of March. Kind of like 'snow birds'. I still have 2 male RT's and a Female RT, along with the Rufous. Honestly, in previous years, I would normally have maybe 'one' this late in March. But this past winter was exceedingly unusual as I had upwards of 13-15 in the yard. Very, very, very unusual winter! Enjoy them while they are here. Joe M. Lakeland, FL

I am in Cocoa and have had a lone female RT visiting me since late May, or early June of '10. She was attracted to my bleeding heart vine and has been on the feeder since than. She fed very regularly, especially through the cold winter we had. But, I haven't seen her now for three days.
