Watching what I think is a male black chinned this morning, dark green back with with well defined light colored stripe under very dark head and gorget. He's feeding on black and blue salvia and firecracker plants every so often, then perching in the trees. Didn't go to my one feeder out, but I just added two more feeders, so fingers crossed! So excited to finally see one feeding this winter, I was beginning to think there was an invisible net across central Florida that was keeping them from me ! I'm on the southwest coast, near Fort Myers.
