;D Today, April 6, 2011 I spotted two male ruby-throated Hummingbirds in my backyard. They were feeding on a very large red honeysuckle vine/bush that is in my backyard. They were ignoring the bright red feeder within the bush. I witnessed the two males fighting each other almost to the ground. Saw one male perching on the bush several times. They were spotted on and off from 4:45 PM to 7:15 PM The visits to the bush lasted from 3 to 4 minutes with a 20 minute break in between feedings. There could have been more... as I am only a novice. The site was very active this evening!!! In years past I have seen hummers at this same bush... I always look forward to spotting a few each year. I have never seen two at the bush at the same time.
