In the almost 40 years I have lived in Miami this is the first time I see a hummingbird. The area where I saw it was on SW 48th street and 84th Avenue in West Miami, it was an orange/yellow color and after doing some research on the Internet, I believe what I saw was a Rufous.
I was born in Cuba and hummingbirds were abundant in my grandmother's backyard.
