Wow congrats I have been checking down south with many friends and no one has claimed seeing them south of Martin County. Good luck and keep posting.

Update on things down here. The male was here and gone,south I guess.I have visually seen three at least. One is a Rufous. I know there is a report of a Rufous at castelow hammock in Miami-Dade county. Im about 2 miles Southwest of it.Redland, florida.

You are lucky. I live near Jacksonville (Middleburg, Fl) and my hummers seem to have moved on. I have only seen one RT female in about 10 days where I used to see multiple females and young adults and one or two males everyday. Glad to hear you are still seeing them

Our hummingbird season down here is the middle of September to the middle of april.When they leave you they come down here.
