Fred Dietrich banded an adult male Broad-billed Hummingbird west of Tallahassee on Friday, March 1st. This is the 7th verified sighting of this species in Florida. He banded a female east of Tallahassee earlier this year. The female remained in the yard for 5 weeks after being banded. She was last seen on February 15th.
