My wife and I are renting a home in Key Largo the month of February. Our home is in southern Minnesota and we are serious backyard birder/feeders. We arrived 2/1 and have observed a hummer several times the past three days. The encounters have been brief and binoculars not nearby we will watch and I'm sure we will be able to make an identification soon. We host numbers of ruby-throats back home not however this time of year.
