A young male Black-chinned Hummingbird was first observed in my Valrico yard on Wednesday December 24th 2014. I was able to get video of the bird today and observe some purple feathers on its gorget. Note the dull color of the bird along with the constant pumping of its tail. Some purple can bee seen on its gorget.

It's a Russelia sarmentosa. I purchased it many years ago listed as a Coral Bush. I've also seen it listed as Fountain Plant and Firecracker Plant but there are other plants with those common names.
