Saw for the second time a female RT. She came to my purple Porterweed on 1/23/16 and today 1/26/16. It was about 5:30 pm each time. I also have 2 red feeders up with red ribbon that may have attracted her. I have not seen her drink from my feeders yet.

Might take some time for her to try the feeder, not all hummers figure feeders out very quickly, some never do!

Hooray she has been coming early in the morning and I also see her in the evening. She looks at my feeders, but alas she hasn't tried them as of yet. Thanks for the response Joe!  |

Forgot to say that I live out in East Bradenton near Lakewood Ranch area. Last year I wrote down that I saw a hummer on Feb. 1st. I wonder if it is the same bird?
