Hey Everybirdy, The past 4 days, a female Ruby-throat has been visiting my porterweed in the front yard. She's been coming at all times of the day. I've been seeing the male less often since she's appeared. No sign of any juvenile yet, as far as I know. See you out there! Tom Dunkerton Titusville, FL

I started seeing a RTH this past week. I think it's a female. Don't know enough to positively identify I've seen her visiting my coral honeysuckle vine and dwarf firebush.

Hello everybody, I saw a male and female RTH last night and this morning on my coral honeysuckle vine. I have the vine planted on one side of a pergola and a climbing rose on the other side and the birds seem to love it. They feed for a little while then perch on a rose limb then feed some more.
It's interesting that they go to the inside of the vines and eat. I thought they only ate on the fly, but I've seen them perch and eat from the flowers beside them as they are sitting on a rose branch!

Here's a photo of the pergola I mentioned in my previous post.
