These are other hummingbird related websites that I've created over the past seven years. The first one was my first attempt to collect data. Too many things happened in my life that prevented me from following up with this plan but it did result in a lot of people contacting me for information thus allowing for at least a small amount of success with my intended goal of improving communication: rowdy13.tripod.com/floridahummers/home.htmlA page that is linked to that page is a post to Humnet by Dennis Demcheck that tells the story of 25 years of wintering hummingbird numbers on the Baton Rouge CBCs. It's interesting to see how the collection of data with improved communication has resulted in a great increase in winter hummingbird reports in an area that seems much less hospitable to wintering hummingbirds: rowdy13.tripod.com/floridahummers/batonrougehummers.htmlMy current hummingbird WebPage has been based around a blog of the hummingbird activity in my yard. I have an open invitation to visitors to my yard when hummingbirds are present. The blog lets potential visitors know what to expect. I also post results of the banding sessions in my yard: mysite.verizon.net/resu64md/yardhummers/ Click on the Hummingbird Banding link to see some photos from a previous banding session.
